Job Description

SUMMARY:
The Baker will perform various tasks to ensure that fresh baked goods are prepared and available for use by various venues at the Coeur d'Alene Casino Resort Hotel.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Using appropriate techniques, mix, bake, or prepare ingredients to produce baked goods and desert items. Check production schedule to determine variety and quantity of goods to bake. Organize and rotate stock in pantry. Present new menu ideas and suggestions. Ensure compliance with all company, county, state, and federal food service laws and requirements. Attend all department team meetings, workshops, and training sessions as delegated by supervisor. Other projects and duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education/Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent required. Minimum of six months previous professional baking experience in a full service establishment.
Skills/Knowledge:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills required. Basic math skills required. Strong customer service skills required. Must be able to work well in a team environment. Must be proficient in correct heating, cooling, reheating, and sanitation procedures.
