Job Description

Job Summary Works with guidance to support formulation activities for bakery blends used in wholesale, retail, and food service applications. Assists with ingredient preparation, product trials, and basic formulation tasks. Supports quality checks on raw ingredients and finished products to ensure they meet established standards. Follows hygiene, safety, and sanitation procedures throughout the entire baking and production process. Provides routine technical support to internal teams and customers as directed. Collaborate with team members and contributes to a safe, organized, and efficient work environment. Essential Job Responsibilities
  • Demonstrates the ability to work independently on assigned tasks while meeting established timelines and expectations, with guidance from senior team members as needed.
  • Supports the development and evaluation of new products aligned with the Eurogerm KB business model, including bread, pastry, and cake bases, dough conditioners, shelf-life extenders, and grain blends. Responsibilities include assisting with test baking, basic sensory evaluations, and process trials.
  • Provides technical support to the sales team by assisting with product demonstrations and basic product or process troubleshooting under direction. Travel to customer locations in the U.S., Canada, and the Caribbean may be required.
  • Prepares and maintains accurate documentation and reports, including formulas, data sheets, recipes, and summaries of customer visits or internal trials.
  • Participate in trade shows, customer seminars, and product presentations as assigned, supporting product setup, demonstrations, and sampling activities.
  • Follows all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), safety, and hygiene standards in the laboratory and pilot baking areas, maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
  • Completes additional projects and tasks assigned by management.
  • Performs other duties as required to support department and business needs. Required Skills
  • Excellent analytical and organizational skills.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with (windows), Microsoft Office, and Outlook. Detail-oriented and willingness to learn. Effective problem-solving skills.
  • Proven ability to effectively collaborate, influence and lead change.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform/deal with ambiguity.
  • Highly organized, self-starter able to set and follow priorities and manage multiple projects.
  • Ability and desire to act both hands on over with small or non-matured environments if needed and with a more strategic way when possible. Required Qualifications
  • 1-3 Years bakery experience
  • Know-How in in formulation of American pastry (cakes, donuts, cookies)
  • Highschool degree or equivalent
  • Bilingual a plus Working Conditions
  • Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds at times.
  • Warehouse production environment
  • Travel-Less than 20% of the time
  • Standing majority of shift
  • Noise typical of a R&D environment, majority of shift
