In this role, you'll be hands-on in bringing our bakery to life-stocking and preparing products, assisting guests with their selections, and ensuring our displays are inviting, full, and up to standard. Key Responsibilities & Duties:
Support exceptional guest hospitality by providing friendly service, maintaining product presentation and department standards, and completing daily tasks that contribute to efficient store operations and sales growth Deliver friendly, helpful, and respectful service to ensure a positive shopping experience and encourage repeat business Package, label, stock, and display bakery products while maintaining quality, freshness, and food safety standards Prepare and bake items such as but not limited to donuts, pastries, and cookies according to production schedules and standards Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas in alignment with sanitation and food safety guidelines Assist guests with product selection, recommendations, allergen information, and special orders Stock, rotate, and merchandise products using FIFO methods to minimize waste and maintain presentation Operate POS systems, scales, and related equipment accurately to support efficient transactions Monitor inventory levels and communicate product needs, shortages, or quality concerns Collaborate with teammates across departments to support store operations and a positive team environment Follow company policies, safety standards, and expectations, including participation in trainings and ongoing development Remain productive during slower periods by cleaning, restocking, or supporting other areas of the store
Minimum Qualifications:
Required:
High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience
Required:
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Preferred:
Experience in grocery, retail, or food service environments
Preferred:
Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards (certification a plus)
Preferred:
Experience with food preparation, baking, or kitchen equipment (ovens, fryers, slicers)
