Job Description
A Cake Decorator is generally responsible for preparing, decorating, and finishing ice cream cakes and specialty desserts according to brand standards while providing guests with excellent service and maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Responsibilities Include:
Decorate ice cream cakes and specialty desserts according to brand standards and guest requests Write personalized messages and create custom cake designs neatly and accurately Prepare cakes for display, pickup, and delivery orders Maintain proper quality, appearance, and freshness of all cakes and desserts Follow food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness standards at all times Stock decorating supplies, toppings, packaging materials, and ingredients Operate kitchen and decorating equipment safely and efficiently Assist guests with cake orders, questions, and recommendations Organize freezer, cooler, and decorating station areas Maintain a clean and sanitary workstation, equipment, and guest areas Communicate effectively with managers and coworkers regarding orders and inventory needs Meet production timelines while maintaining attention to detail and product quality Assist with additional restaurant or bakery duties as needed
Education/Experience:
Previous cake decorating experience preferred but not required Food service, bakery, or restaurant experience is a plus

Physical Demands/Working Conditions:
