Job Description

Position Summary We are looking for a creative, dependable Cake Icer to decorate cakes, cupcakes, and specialty orders while maintaining Magnolia's quality and design standards. This role also includes helping train new team members, keeping the workspace clean and organized, and providing friendly customer service. Cake Icers should be comfortable greeting customers and decorating cakes in front of customers when needed to create a welcoming and engaging bakery experience. Responsibilities Trim, fill, assemble, ice, and decorate cakes and cupcakes Write inscriptions and complete custom cake orders Prepare and color icings and decorations Maintain Magnolia standards for cake design, quality, and presentation Ensure products meet quality standards before sale Keep workstations, tools, and equipment clean and sanitized Follow all food safety and sanitation procedures Assist with training and supporting other cake icers Help organize and maintain prep and decorating stations Complete prep tasks as needed Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner Physical Requirements Standing and walking for extended periods Frequent use of hands Occasional bending, reaching, kneeling, and lifting 10+ lbs Ability to work around hot equipment Qualifications 6-12 months of cake decorating experience preferred Knowledge of decorating tools, icings, and techniques Strong communication and time management skills Able to work in a fast-paced environment Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset Flexible, reliable, and willing to learn Schedule & Pay Approximately 30 - 40 hours per week
Hourly Pay:
