Baker Le café éblouir Terrytown, LA Job Details Full-time From $15 an hour 1 day ago Benefits Employee discount Flexible schedule Qualifications Bakery experience Pre-cooking preparation Packing Culinary Arts Attention to detail Full Job Description Duties Prepare and bake a variety of pastries, cakes, and desserts according to established recipes and standards Decorate cakes and pastries with artistic flair to meet customer specifications Package baked goods for retail or catering purposes, ensuring presentation quality Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pastry station and kitchen area Assist with food production and food handling tasks as needed during busy periods Ensure all baked items meet food safety and sanitation guidelines Collaborate with team members to ensure timely delivery of orders Support catering events by preparing specialty desserts and pastries Manage inventory of baking supplies and ingredients Qualifications Proven experience in pastry arts, baking, or culinary roles within the food industry Knowledge of food safety standards and proper handling procedures Experience with food preparation, packaging, and kitchen operations Excellent knife skills and familiarity with baking equipment Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Previous restaurant or catering experience is preferred but not required Culinary education or pastry certification is a plus Join our team to craft exquisite pastries that delight our customers!
