Night Baker — Shelburne Falls Coffee Roasters Greenfield, MA Shelburne Falls Coffee Roasters is a locally owned, award-winning coffee roaster and café company rooted right here in Western Massachusetts. Every pastry served across our café locations starts in our Greenfield bakery — made from scratch, baked overnight, and shipped out fresh each morning to keep our little corner of New England running on good coffee and better baked goods. The Role We're looking for a Night Baker to join our bakery team in Greenfield. You'll handle straightforward café bakes — think muffins, scones, cookies, and other everyday favorites — then decorate them once they've cooled and pack them up carefully for delivery to our café locations. A big part of the job is keeping the bakery spotless once the night's baking wraps up, so pride in a clean, organized workspace matters just as much as pride in the bake. What You'll Do Bake a rotating lineup of simple café items on a consistent overnight schedule Decorate and finish baked goods once cooled Package products for safe, efficient shipping to our café locations Follow recipes and portioning guides consistently, batch after batch Deep-clean bakery equipment, surfaces, and tools at the end of each shift Keep inventory tidy and flag any supply needs to the Bakery Manager What We're Looking For Comfortable working independently overnight Attention to detail, especially with decorating and packaging Reliable, steady work ethic — this role keeps the whole operation on schedule Prior baking or kitchen experience is a plus but not required; we'll train the right person Someone who takes pride in leaving a clean space behind Why Shelburne Falls Coffee Roasters We've been roasting coffee since 1993 and have grown into a small but mighty local institution — the kind of company where people know your name, your favorite drink, and probably your dog.
