Responsibilities Design and decorate cakes according to customer specifications and company standards. Utilize various decorating techniques, including piping, fondant application, and airbrushing. Prepare cake batter and other baked goods while adhering to food safety regulations. Collaborate with customers to understand their needs and provide recommendations for cake designs. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, ensuring compliance with food safety standards. Package finished products for display or delivery, ensuring they are presented attractively. Assist in inventory management by tracking supplies needed for cake production. Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving any issues related to cake orders. Experience Previous experience in the food industry, particularly in pastry or cake decorating, is highly desirable. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients. Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations is essential. Proficiency in food preparation techniques, including the use of kitchen tools such as knives and mixers. Experience in food production processes will be considered an asset.
