Job Description
Job Overview We are a bakery in Worcester. We are seeking a passionate Pastry Cook (baker) to join our team. Experience baking and preparing pastries in commercial kitchen space is preferred. Should be comfortable moving in a fast paced environment. Weekends are required. Experience with croissant dough, laminating and rolling, is a big plus (but will train the right person with a desire to learn). Everything is made from scratch on site. Croissants. Cakes. Tarts Responsibilities Prepare and bake a variety of pastries, cakes, and desserts according to established recipes. Assist with food production and preparation tasks as needed, including mixing ingredients and measuring portions. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety standards. Skills Experience in pastry cooking or baking within a professional kitchen environment preferred. Strong cake decorating skills with an eye for detail and creativity. Knowledge of food production techniques and culinary practices. Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in food handling. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards.
