Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to work on a small dedicated team to produce a full range of bakery products including cakes, cupcakes, cookies, bars, tarts, pies, scones, and more. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality baked goods, maintaining food safety standards, and following production processes. Your passion for baking and culinary expertise will inspire the team to deliver exceptional products that delight our customers. This position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your skills while creating delicious baked items in a fast-paced, food industry environment. Duties Prepare and bake many different types of baked goods following processes and recipes Maintain consistent product quality Help train bakery staff as necessary Maintain a clean and organized workspace Maintain strict food safety and hygiene standards in compliance with local regulations and company policies Coordinate daily production schedules, monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, and place orders as needed Collaborate with management to develop new recipes, improve existing products, and innovate bakery offerings Skills 1+ years of food production experience Proven expertise in food production, preparation, and baking techniques within a commercial kitchen or bakery setting Excellent knife skills for precise cutting, shaping, and decorating of baked goods Strong knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Exceptional customer service skills to engage with clients or retail staff when necessary Excellent verbal and written communication skills Knowledge of kitchen equipment operation including sheeters, mixers, ovens, pastry tools, and refrigeration units Ability to lift 50 lbs occasionally Join us as a pastry chef and baker if you're passionate about creating beautiful baked goods that bring joy to others! $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
