Description:
The Cake Decorator is a key role within our bakery, responsible for crafting visually stunning and delicious cakes. This position requires a strong foundation in Cake Decorating techniques, coupled with a passion for Baking and a commitment to Food Safety and Sanitation. The ideal candidate will possess excellent Time Management skills, the ability to work effectively in a Teamwork environment, and a dedication to providing exceptional Customer Service. This role demands a detail-oriented individual who can maintain Cleanliness and adhere to Safety Standards while producing high-quality products.
Responsibilities:
Decorate cakes according to customer orders and established standards, demonstrating proficiency in various Cake Decorating techniques. Prepare and bake cake components, ensuring adherence to recipes and Food Preparation guidelines. Maintain a clean and organized workspace, upholding strict Food Safety and Sanitation protocols. Manage time effectively to meet deadlines and prioritize tasks, demonstrating strong Time Management skills. Collaborate with the team to ensure smooth and efficient workflow, fostering Teamwork . Package and label finished products accurately, utilizing Packaging and Labeling best practices. Provide excellent •Customer Service•by interacting with customers, taking orders, and addressing inquiries with Positivity . Assist with inventory management and ordering supplies, demonstrating General Mathematics skills. Adhere to all Safety Standards and maintain a safe working environment. Demonstrate Detail Oriented approach in all aspects of cake decoration and presentation.
Minimum Qualifications:
Working knowledge of Cake Decorating techniques, including frosting, piping, and fondant work. General knowledge of baking principles and practices. Working knowledge of Food Safety and Sanitation regulations. Ability to lift up to 25 pounds. Excellent Communication skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in a bakery or food service environment. Experience with Multitasking .
