Overview We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Bakery Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will support the daily operations of our bakery, ensuring that our products are prepared with the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate will have a love for baking and a strong understanding of food preparation and safety practices. This position is perfect for individuals looking to grow their culinary skills in a dynamic and creative environment. Responsibilities Assist in the preparation of various baked goods, including bread, pastries, and cakes. Follow recipes accurately to ensure consistency in product quality. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and baking areas. Adhere to food safety and handling guidelines to ensure a safe working environment. Support cake decorating efforts by preparing ingredients and assisting with design elements. Help with inventory management by monitoring stock levels of ingredients and supplies. Participate in catering events as needed, providing support for food production and presentation. Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines. Experience Previous experience in a kitchen or bakery setting is preferred but not required; we are willing to train enthusiastic candidates. Knowledge of food preparation techniques, including baking methods and cake decorating skills. Familiarity with food safety standards and practices is essential.
