Job Description
Overview British bakery looking for two people to join us in our busy kitchen starting in August. One of our wonderful peeps is leaving for college and the other is returning to school. We need two people who can bake, prep, clean and tend customers and any other task that comes up, our bakery is small and everyone wears many hats. Employees will need to be 18 or older and able to lift 50lbs. The pay is a range and commensurate with experience. Along with your hourly salary you will get tips and one free food item per shift. We're looking for someone with prior bakery experience but a sunny disposition and willingness to learn are equally important. If you've ever watched the Great British Baking show and wanted to learn more about British baking, come on in! This can be a crazy busy kitchen where you can be making biscuits one minute and making curried chicken to fill pasties the next, all while tending customers and making sure cases are filled with goodies. The day is busy and our customers are so much fun. Responsibilities We're a small bakery so if something needs doing and we all pitch in!
But basic responsiblities are:
- Fulfilling customer orders
- Keeping display cases filled
- Prepping vegetables and fruits for scones,pasties and tarts.
- Making pasties, scones, biscuits and shortbreads.
- Making and decorating mini cakes.
- Keeping flour, sugar and other ingredient bins filled.
Pay:
$12.00- $20.
