Duties Prepare and bake a variety of baked goods, including bread, pastries, cakes, and cookies, following established recipes and quality standards Decorate cakes and pastries with precision using cake decorating techniques to create visually appealing products Package baked items carefully to maintain freshness and presentation for retail display or customer takeout Assist in food preparation tasks such as mixing, portioning, and assembling ingredients for various baked goods Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bakery workspace in compliance with food safety regulations Handle food products safely by adhering to proper food handling procedures and sanitation standards Provide excellent customer service by answering questions about products, offering recommendations, and ensuring a positive shopping experience Experience Previous experience in baking, pastry arts, or food production is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is valued highly Knowledge of cake decorating techniques and experience with food presentation enhances your ability to excel in this role Familiarity with food safety standards and proper kitchen hygiene practices is essential Experience in packaging baked goods efficiently for retail or catering purposes is a plus Background in restaurant or catering environments demonstrates strong food handling skills and ability to work in fast-paced settings Kitchen experience involving knife skills, cooking, or culinary preparation supports your success in this position Strong customer service skills combined with a passion for food industry standards will help you thrive as part of our team
