Staff Member/Baker

Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and passionate Baker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in baking techniques and a keen eye for detail, particularly in cake decorating and pastry preparation. As a Baker, you will be responsible for creating a variety of baked goods while ensuring the highest standards of food safety and quality. Your creativity and dedication to customer service will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional products that delight our customers. Responsibilities Prepare and bake a wide range of products including cookies and cookie cakes. Decorate cakes and with artistic flair to meet customer specifications. Ensure all food safety guidelines are strictly followed during food preparation and handling. Package baked goods attractively for display and sale. Maintain cleanliness and organization in the baking area to ensure compliance with health regulations. Collaborate with team members to fulfill customer orders efficiently. Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels of ingredients and supplies. Prepare beverages including lemonades and coffee Experience Previous experience in a bakery or culinary setting is highly preferred but not mandatory; we welcome enthusiastic candidates eager to learn. Familiarity with food safety practices and regulations is essential. Strong customer service skills to interact positively with customers. Proficiency in baking techniques, including pastry preparation and cake decorating. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
