Role Description We are seeking a skilled Cake Decorator for a full-time, on-site position at our location in Red Bank, NJ. The Cake Decorator will be responsible for designing and decorating custom cakes and cupcakes to client specifications, using various techniques such as icing, fondant, and edible decorations. Additional duties include preparing and organizing decorating materials, ensuring cleanliness in the workspace, and collaborating with team members to deliver high-quality baked goods. Creativity and a passion for exceptional customer service are essential for success in this role. Qualifications Proficiency in cake decorating techniques, including piping, sugar crafting, and working with fondant Skills in designing and executing custom cakes and cupcakes to meet client requests Attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects Strong interpersonal and communication skills for collaborating with customers and team members Knowledge of health and safety regulations in a food preparation environment Previous experience in cake decorating or a related field; formal training or certifications in pastry arts is a plus Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, as required A positive attitude, creativity, and passion for delivering high-quality baked goods
