Part-Time Weekend Baker

Job Description Old Town Bagel is looking for a dedicated and skilled Weekend Baker to join our team in Swedesboro. We pride ourselves on providing our community with the freshest, highest- quality bagels. This role is critical to our morning success, ensuring that when our doors open, the shelves are stocked with perfectly baked goods.

Key Responsibilities Bagel Production :

Crafting and baking fresh bagels in a high-volume commercial setting.

Dough Preparation :

Preparing bagel dough from scratch following established recipes and quality standards.

Quality Control :

Ensuring consistent size, texture, and bake quality for all products.

Sanitation & Safety:

Maintaining a spotless workspace. You will be responsible for ensuring the bakery and prep areas consistently exceed local health department codes and safety regulations.

Efficiency :

Managing time effectively during the graveyard shift to meet early morning production deadlines. Requirements Ability to work independently during late-night/early-morning hours. Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift heavy flour bags (up to 50 lbs). Reliable transportation to Swedesboro, NJ for 12:00 AM starts.
