Sanitation Manager

GPAC has partnered with a growing food manufacturing company in Southwestern New Jersey seeking to add a Sanitation Manager to its leadership team. This is a highly visible role inside an SQF/BRC audited bakery manufacturing environment, overseeing sanitation operations, food safety compliance, environmental programs, and audit readiness across the facility. The company is continuing to invest in operations and leadership development following recent expansion efforts and is seeking a strong leader who can drive accountability, compliance, and sanitation performance.

Responsibilities:

• Lead sanitation operations across shifts
• Manage MSS execution, SSOPs, and sanitation validation
• Drive SQF, BRC, FDA, USDA, and OSHA compliance
• Oversee environmental monitoring programs and allergen control
• Prepare for and lead third-party audits
• Partner closely with QA and Operations leadership
• Train and develop sanitation teams

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of sanitation leadership experience within food manufacturing
• Strong understanding of SQF/BRC and food safety systems
• Bakery, dairy, frozen food, or high-care manufacturing experience preferred
• Experience with environmental monitoring and allergen programs
• HACCP and PCQI strongly preferred
• Bilingual in Spanish preferred

Compensation & Perks:

• $75K-$115K base salary DOE
