We're expanding our team and looking for a skilled baker who takes pride in traditional, hands-on baking methods. Position Summary We are seeking a passionate and experienced Bagel Baker who specializes in making bagels from scratch. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, consistent, and understands the process from dough prep to baking. You'll play a vital role in maintaining our reputation for high-quality, authentic bagels. It is a flex position. Key Responsibilities Prepare and scale dough from scratch using provided recipes Monitor proofing and baking times to ensure consistency Maintain cleanliness and organization of the baking area Ensure all food safety and sanitation standards are met Can work as a flex on a grill or a smoothie position Assist with inventory management and ingredient ordering Occasionally train or guide junior baking staff Team player who is curious and can work on multiple positions. Qualifications Proven experience making handmade bagels in a commercial kitchen or bakery Strong understanding of baking processes and techniques Ability to work early morning shifts and weekends Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented Able to lift 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
