Albuquerque, NM Pay:
$16.00-$18.00 per hour Compensation is based on experience. At New Mexico Piñon Coffee, we're passionate about enriching lives through the love of coffee. We're looking for a dependable, hardworking team member to join our Commissary team. This position plays a critical role in preparing high-quality food products and ensuring they are safely delivered to our coffee house locations. What You'll Do As a Commissary Production & Delivery Associate, you will: Prepare, assemble, package, and label food products according to company standards. Follow established production procedures, recipes, and quality guidelines. Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work environment in accordance with ServSafe and company food safety standards. Inspect products throughout the production process to ensure quality and consistency. Stock, organize, and rotate inventory using FIFO (First In, First Out) practices. Operate production equipment safely and efficiently while following all safety procedures and PPE requirements. Assist with training team members on production processes and best practices. Load, transport, and deliver food products and supplies to New Mexico Piñon Coffee House locations using a company delivery van. Unload deliveries and communicate professionally with café teams to ensure timely and accurate deliveries. Support other commissary operations and projects as assigned. What We're Looking For Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Reliable transportation and proof of personal auto insurance. Comfortable driving a company delivery van throughout the Albuquerque metro area. Commercial food production experience preferred (1+ year). Food Handler's Permit (or ability to obtain one within 30 days of hire). Ability to follow written and verbal instructions, recipes, and production procedures. Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Excel. Strong math skills for recipe measurements and inventory management. Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Dependable with excellent attendance and a positive attitude. Physical Requirements This is an active position requiring frequent: Standing and walking for an entire shift. Bending, twisting, reaching, stooping, pushing, and pulling. Lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds.
