Position Overview:
As a Bakery Assistant, you'll play a key role supporting our baking team with both prep work and daily cleaning tasks. This role keeps our kitchen running smoothly while making sure products are ready for our customers each day.
What You'll Do:
Assist bakers with ingredient prep, portioning, and basic production. Operate dish machine and wash sheet pans, bowls, utensils, buckets, and baking tools. Clean and sanitize work tables, mixers, and equipment. Sweep, mop, and maintain clean bakery floors. Take out trash and assist with end-of-day cleanup. Restock ingredients and supplies. Follow safety and sanitation standards at all times.
What We're Looking For:
Reliable transportation to and from work. Ability to lift 50 lbs. Attention to detail and ability to work efficiently. Positive, team-oriented attitude. Comfortable working in a fast-paced kitchen. Prior foodservice experience is helpful, but not required. We will train the right person.
Schedule:
Weekend availability required. Closed Sundays & Mondays.
