Grand Opening slated May 2026 Position Overview The Willow is focused on fresh, thoughtful food and a strong connection to our local community. Our bakery display will feature small-batch, from-scratch baked goods (such as muffins, cookies, etc.) and our menu features our house-made white bread. We're seeking a reliable baker to execute our recipes, which means this role requires strong scratch-baking experience, the ability to work independently, and a high level of organization and consistency. The right person takes pride in their work, manages time well, and can consistently turn out delicious baked goods. Responsibilities Prepare and bake items (muffins, scones, cookies, breads, etc.) Follow recipes and production standards Manage prep lists and coordinate with kitchen team for baking support Maintain inventory of baking ingredients Ensure consistency in quality, appearance, and portioning Maintain a clean, organized, food-safe baking area Qualifications Prior baking experience required Knowledge of scratch baking techniques Ability to work independently and maintain a schedule Highly organized and reliable Strong attention to detail and consistency Ability to lift 40 lbs and stand for long periods Weekend availability required Food safety knowledge required What We Offer Competitive part-time pay based on experience Consistent but flexible schedule Creative input as the menu evolves Supportive, respectful work environment A small team where your work has real impact How to Apply Send us your resume and tell us about your baking background, what you love to make, your flour superpowers and why you're interested in The Willow.
