Job Overview Join our vibrant bakery team as a Bakery Assistant and become a vital part of creating delicious baked goods that delight our customers! In this energetic role, you will support the bakery operations by preparing and packaging a variety of baked items, ensuring quality and presentation meet our high standards. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your food industry expertise while contributing to a dynamic team dedicated to excellence in baking. Duties Assist in food preparation and baking processes, including mixing, measuring, and assembling ingredients for various baked goods. Package baked products efficiently and attractively for display or customer purchase, maintaining cleanliness and organization in the work area. Support food safety protocols by handling ingredients properly, maintaining hygiene standards, and adhering to food industry regulations. Contribute to the overall kitchen operations by supporting cooking tasks, cleaning equipment, and organizing supplies to ensure smooth workflow. Assist with catering orders or special event preparations as needed, demonstrating flexibility and teamwork in a fast-paced environment. Qualifications Previous experience in food production, baking, or pastry work is highly desirable.. Experience in food preparation within a bakery, restaurant, or catering setting is preferred. Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper hygiene practices to maintain a clean working environment. The ability to communicate effectively and work well within a team. Ability to stand for extended periods, lift heavy trays or ingredients safely, and perform physical tasks required in a busy kitchen setting.
