Job Title:

Head Baker As the Head Baker for our bustling bakery in Akron, you will be responsible for overseeing the production of our delicious baked goods and leading a team of skilled bakers. This is a full-time position that requires a passion for baking and strong leadership skills.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and direct all aspects of the bakery operations, including production, inventory, and quality control
• Create new and innovative recipes to keep our menu fresh and exciting
• Train and supervise a team of bakers to ensure consistency in product quality and efficient production
• Oversee ordering and receiving of ingredients to maintain adequate inventory levels
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the bakery at all times
• Ensure compliance with all health codes and regulations
• Develop relationships with suppliers to source high-quality ingredients at competitive prices

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years experience as a professional baker, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role
• Passion for baking with knowledge of various techniques and recipes
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and train a team
• Excellent time management skills to meet production deadlines while maintaining quality standards
• Ability to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as needed
• Biometric passport required for all nationalities
