Non-exempt Reports to: Executive Chef & Head Baker Job Description Summary Preparing different types of bread and bread products, like focaccia, pita, and brioche. Assisting the pastry team with prepping recipes, portioning, mixing, and baking. Essential Job Functions Open the bakery early in the morning Clean kitchen equipment and tools after use Weigh the flour and other ingredients to prepare the dough Bake different bread and pastry types Use Italian bread ovens Shape dough to prepare different types of pastries and artisan bread products Prepare custom-made bread products based on customers' preferences (e.g., focaccia) Check and put away orders Complete cleaning tasks as needed Other job duties as assigned Required Skills & Abilities Adaptability- being able to adjust to new conditions Agility

- creating a product or service to meet the customer's expectations Qualifications Required Professional kitchen experience Familiarity with professional kitchen equipment, including mixers, blenders, dough sheeters, and high-quality ovens Understanding of food safety practices Excellent time-management skills Ability to remain calm and focused in a fast-paced environment Team spirit, with a customer-focused attitude Flexibility to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays Preferred Experience as a baker Physical Requirements Standing•job requires employee to continuously stand in an upright position for long periods of time without being able to leave the work area Lifting•job requires employee to continuously raise or lower objects up to 50lbs from one level to another regularly during the shift Carrying•job requires employee to continuously carry objects up to 50lbs Restaurant type:
