In this vital role, you will ensure that all pants and trousers are pressed to perfection, maintaining the highest standards of quality and presentation. Your energetic approach will help keep our operations running smoothly, providing exceptional service to our customers and supporting the overall cleanliness and professionalism of our facility. This position offers a fantastic opportunity for individuals with a passion for garment care and a commitment to excellence. Responsibilities Carefully press and shape pants and trousers using professional pressing equipment to achieve crisp, wrinkle-free results. Inspect garments for any stains, tears, or irregularities, and notify supervisors of any issues requiring additional attention. Follow proper dry cleaning and laundry procedures to ensure garments are cleaned, pressed, and returned in pristine condition. Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring all pressing tools and supplies are properly stored and maintained. Assist with basic customer service tasks by receiving garments, providing updates on turnaround times, and ensuring customer satisfaction. Handle cash transactions accurately if applicable, including cashiering duties such as processing payments and giving change. Adhere to safety guidelines and quality standards to ensure a safe working environment while delivering excellent garment care. Requirements Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify garment issues quickly. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor. Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks efficiently. Experience with cleaning equipment and maintaining a tidy workspace is a plus. Hours Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Friday from 6am - until the work is done for the day.. slower days run until 10:30am and long days can run until 2pm. (usually Friday is the slowest day). Saturday. We are open 8am-5pm on Saturdays, we are looking for someone to work 2-3 Saturdays per month on the counter helping customers check items in and cash out at time of pickup. Saturday also involves washing, drying and hanging garments. Saturday is usually split between an 8am-12noon and a 12noon-5pm We start at $15 an hour
