Responsibilities Decorate cakes and desserts with intricate designs, piping, fondant, and other decorative techniques to meet customer specifications and company standards Prepare and assemble cakes, ensuring they are visually appealing, properly layered, and tastefully finished Handle food preparation tasks such as mixing, baking, and portioning ingredients in accordance with food safety guidelines Package finished products carefully to maintain freshness and presentation quality during transport or display Maintain cleanliness and organization of the decorating station, adhering to strict food handling and safety protocols Assist customers with cake selections, answer questions about ingredients or design options, and provide excellent customer service Support overall kitchen operations by participating in food production, catering events, or special orders as needed Skills Proven experience in cake decorating, pastry arts, or culinary arts with a strong portfolio of decorated cakes Knowledge of food handling procedures, safety standards, and sanitation practices within the food industry Skilled in using decorating tools such as piping bags, spatulas, fondant cutters, and knives with precision Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor Strong kitchen experience including baking, food preparation, and general culinary techniques Familiarity with food industry regulations related to food safety and hygiene standards Join us if you're eager to craft stunning desserts that delight both the eyes and the palate!
