A background in food handling and preparation is highly desirable as you will be interacting with products in the culinary sector. Duties Respond promptly to customer inquiries via phone, email, or in-person. Assist customers with order placements, modifications, and cancellations. Provide information about products, including food safety and preparation techniques. Handle complaints and resolve issues efficiently while maintaining a positive attitude. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure customer satisfaction regarding food quality and presentation. Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions. Support inventory management by assisting with packaging and food production tasks as needed. Uphold high standards of food safety and hygiene throughout all customer interactions. Skills Proficiency in food handling and preparation techniques is essential. Experience in baking, cake decorating, or culinary arts is a plus. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members. Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently (e.g., knives, mixers). Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices. Excellent problem-solving skills to address customer concerns proactively. Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in order processing and product presentation. Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive demeanor. Help with inventory management and stock rotation to ensure fresh products are always available. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in accordance with health and safety standards.
