Hello!
We are seeking a part-time evening baker to join our team to prepare delicious pastries and cookies for our retail bakery and our wholesale partners.
Open since 2014, we are a growing retail and wholesale neighborhood bakery on SE Hawthorne Blvd with a loyal following across town! We are in a period of expansion and have lots of room for advancement!
Shifts are approximately 5:00 PM to 2:00 AM, with some variation possible based on order volumes and some flexibility based on your schedule needs. We are looking for candidates interested in at least 3 days / week, who are available Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays.
Two or more years of applicable kitchen or industry experience, and familiarity with large scale production.
Passionate about creating consistent and high-quality pastries, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment. You will need to have the ability to work efficiently both independently, and as part of a team.
Excited about actively contributing to a positive, encouraging, productive, and fun work environment.
Able to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for the duration of a shift.
A current OR Food Handler's card.
Lots of input - the staff is always invited to come up with fun flavors, new ideas, and specialty items! We have lots of fun recipe testing and trying out new things.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE
Baking off and packing all pastries for wholesale, deliveries, orders, and the in-store pastry casePreparing the pastries for the following dayGeneral production supportCleaning, washing dishes (operating dishwasher), and generally maintaining our production spaceCOMPENSATION, BENEFITS, AND FEATURES OF THE POSITION
