About the
Role:
Join our dynamic team at Ashi Grocery - Towanda as a Bakery Clerk, where you'll play a vital role in delivering fresh, delicious baked goods to our customers. If you have a passion for baking and customer service, this is the perfect opportunity to showcase your skills in a friendly and inviting environment.
Responsibilities:
Assist customers with bakery product selections and provide exceptional service. Prepare and bake a variety of bread, pastries, and desserts according to recipes. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bakery area and equipment. Monitor inventory levels and restock items as needed to ensure freshness. Package baked goods attractively for display and sale. Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure product quality. Collaborate with team members to create a positive shopping experience. Participate in promotional activities and displays for bakery products.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous experience in a bakery or food service environment is a plus. Strong customer service skills and a friendly demeanor. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks. Basic knowledge of baking techniques and ingredients. Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
