Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Ice Cream Maker to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating delicious ice cream sundaes and ensuring a high-quality product that delights our customers. You will work in a fast-paced environment, utilizing your culinary skills and attention to detail to produce exceptional ice cream while maintaining cleanliness and food safety standards. Duties Prepare and mix ingredients according to established recipes for various syrups and toppings Operate ice cream machines and other equipment safely and efficiently. Ensure all products meet quality standards by conducting regular taste tests and inspections. Maintain cleanliness in the production area, including sanitizing equipment and work surfaces. Assist with customer service by taking orders, operating the cash register, and handling transactions using Shift 4 POS or similar systems. Collaborate with team members to manage inventory levels and restock supplies as needed. Provide excellent customer service, addressing any inquiries or concerns promptly. Participate in training sessions to enhance culinary skills and knowledge of food handling practices. Qualifications Previous experience in the food industry is preferred, particularly in roles related to food handling or culinary arts. Familiarity with Shift 4/ Toast POS or similar cash register systems is a plus. Basic math skills for handling transactions and inventory management. Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards. Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service. Ability to work effectively in a team environment while also being self-motivated. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
