Job Description
Bakery Assistant (Part-Time) Sugar & Grace Custom Bakery - Greer, SC Sugar & Grace Custom Bakery is looking for a dependable, detail-oriented Bakery Assistant to help support our growing bakery operation. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, takes pride in doing things well, and understands that quality and consistency matter. Schedule Part-time 3-5 days per week Typically 3-6 hours per shift Mostly afternoon hours, with occasional morning shifts Schedule provided approximately 2 weeks in advance Responsibilities Measure and prepare dry ingredients Wash dishes and maintain kitchen cleanliness Prepare baking pans and baking supplies Make icing, dough, and other bakery components Assist the primary baker with daily production needs Maintain an organized and efficient workspace Perform daily cleaning and sanitation tasks Participate in routine deep cleaning of bakery work areas Assist with packaging and other bakery-related tasks as needed What We're Looking For Self-starter who can identify needs and stay productive without constant supervision Exceptional attention to detail Strong ability to follow directions precisely and make adjustments when requested Fast worker who maintains accuracy and quality Able to work independently or as part of a team Organized and efficient with excellent time management Takes pride in maintaining a clean, sanitary work environment Comfortable performing repetitive tasks consistently and accurately Understands the importance of staying focused on the task at hand, even in a friendly and conversational work environment Hygiene & Cleanliness Standards Because we operate in the food industry, cleanliness and personal presentation are extremely important. We are looking for someone who takes pride in personal hygiene, clean clothing, and maintaining high sanitation standards. Attention to details such as clean attire, hair restraint, handwashing practices, and overall food-safe habits is essential.
