Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking passionate and skilled Bread Bakers to join our vibrant bakery team for our new bakery. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing a variety of fresh, high-quality bread and baked goods that delight our customers. Your expertise in baking techniques, food safety, and kitchen operations will help us deliver exceptional products consistently. This position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your culinary talent while contributing to a warm, welcoming environment that values creativity and craftsmanship. Responsibilities Prepare and bake a wide range of artisan breads along with our pastry team following established recipes and quality standards Ensure all baked products meet food safety and hygiene regulations through proper handling and sanitation practices Assist with food preparation tasks such as mixing, kneading, shaping dough, and being willing to help pastry dept. decorating baked items like cakes and pastries Package baked goods efficiently for display or take-out orders while maintaining presentation quality Maintain cleanliness of the bakery station, including equipment, utensils, and work surfaces throughout shifts Support the team in inventory management by monitoring ingredients and notifying management of supply needs Provide excellent customer service by answering questions about products and offering recommendations when needed Qualifications Proven experience in baking artisan breads, from maintaining starter, mixing natural and organic flours, proofing, shaping and baking. Pastry arts or culinary roles experience a plus within a bakery, restaurant, or food production environment Strong knife skills and proficiency in various baking techniques such as kneading, proofing, and decorating Knowledge of food handling procedures, food safety standards, and sanitation practices Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen setting while maintaining attention to detail Excellent communication skills with a focus on teamwork and customer service excellence At least three years culinary experience in the food industry with a focus on bread baking or pastry arts is highly desirable Join us to craft delicious natural, artisan breads that bring joy to our customers! Pay:
$18.00 - $24.00 per hour
