Description:
We are seeking a dependable, passionate, and detail-oriented Bread Baker to join our culinary team. In this fast-paced environment, you will take pride in producing fresh, high-quality artisanal breads and baked goods. The ideal candidate is enthusiastic about their craft and eager to cross-train into pastry production to expand their skill set and support our growing bakery operations. Key Responsibilities Prepare, mix, and bake a diverse selection of breads according to established recipes and quality standards. Measure and weigh all ingredients accurately to ensure consistency. Monitor dough fermentation, proofing, and precise baking times. Operate and maintain commercial baking equipment safely and efficiently. Uphold strict cleanliness and sanitation standards for all workstation areas and equipment. Manage inventory rotation and ensure the proper storage of raw ingredients. Guarantee all finished products meet our standards for freshness, quality, and visual appeal. Assist with prep work, pastry cross-training, and other daily bakery operations as required. Adhere strictly to all established food safety, health, and sanitation regulations.
Requirements:
Previous professional baking experience is preferred, though we are willing to train the right candidate. Foundational knowledge of bread-making techniques and science is a strong plus. Physical capacity to lift up to 50 pounds regularly. Ability to stand, bend, and move for extended periods during shifts. Excellent time management skills and a strong attention to detail. A positive attitude with a proven ability to collaborate effectively within a team. Reliable, punctual, and flexible to work early morning shifts, weekends, and holidays.
