Department Culinary Arts and Hospitality Management Position Type Faculty Employment Status Adjunct Salary Adjunct Stipend Open Date 11/14/2025 Close Date Open Until Filled No Position Summary Information Job Description Summary The purpose of this position is to teach assigned courses in a variety of times and locations in response to institutional need, and maintain appropriate professional relationships with students, colleagues and the community. Courses may include online courses and/or dual-credit/early college classes. Minimum Qualifications Associate's degree in Baking & Pastry from an Accredited Institution. Three (3) years work experience in Baking & Pastry. Current ServSafe Manager or Texas Certified Food Manager certification for lab instructors required to instruct Culinary and/or Baking/Pastry courses. Required Job Knowledge, Skills, Abilities Demonstrate skill, knowledge, and abilities in the teaching discipline. Preferred Qualifications Successful college teaching experience utilizing instructional technologies, including computers, internet resources and other appropriate media in instruction.
