Food Handler Certification Full Job Description Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and creative Cake Decorator to join our team. As a Cake Decorator, you will be responsible for creating visually appealing and delicious cakes for our customers. Your attention to detail and artistic abilities will be essential in ensuring that our cakes are not only beautiful but also taste amazing.Duties:
- Follow instruction cards, prep icing colors
- form cakes in various shapes and sizes
- Decorate cakes using different techniques such as piping, fondant, and icing
- Create custom designs based on customer requests
- Ensure that all cakes are properly packaged and dated for display or delivery
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Collaborate with the team to develop new cake flavors and designs
Skills:
- willingness to learn or knowledge of kitchen equipment and tools used in cake decorating
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices
- Previous experience working in a restaurant or culinary environment is preferred but not necessary
- Excellent attention to detail and artistic abilities
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with team members and understand customer requests
