Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Bakery Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will support the daily operations of our bakery, ensuring that our products are prepared and presented to the highest standards. The ideal candidate will have a passion for baking and customer service, with a strong ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Assist in the preparation of baked goods, including bread. Help maintain cleanliness and organization in the bakery area. Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with customers and assisting them with their selections. Ensure compliance with food handling and safety regulations. Operate bakery equipment safely and efficiently. Assist with inventory management, including stock rotation and ordering supplies as needed. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods. Skills Strong customer service skills, with the ability to interact positively with customers in a café or grocery store setting. Basic math skills for measuring ingredients and handling transactions. Knowledge of food handling practices and culinary techniques. Ability to work effectively in a team environment while also being self-motivated. Previous experience in the food industry is preferred but not required.
