• Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare a wide variety of goods such as cakes, cookies, pies, bread, etc., following traditional and modern recipes.
• Create new and exciting desserts to renew our menus and engage the interest of customers.
• Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, and communicate needs for restocking.
• Ensure excellent quality in the presentation and taste of all baked goods.
• Decorate pastries and desserts using various techniques and tools to achieve an aesthetically pleasing outcome.
• Maintain a clean and orderly cooking station and adhere to all health and safety regulations.
• Optimize the baking process with attention to speed and quality.
• Assist in the development and testing of new baking techniques and recipes.
• Collaborate with other team members to plan production schedules and ensure timely delivery of products.
• Provide input on menus and pricing based on current market trends and cost analysis.
• Conduct quality checks on ingredients and final products to ensure that standards are met.

• Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a baker, pastry chef, or similar role.
• Familiarity with all professional kitchen equipment, including mixers, blenders, and ovens.
• Understanding of various baking methods, ingredients, equipment, and processes.
• Ability to work efficiently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Creative flair and keen attention to detail.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Flexibility to work early morning shifts, weekends, and holidays as required.
• Culinary certification or degree in baking and pastry arts is a plus.
