Overview Petit Sablé is a heritage pastry brand with deep roots in Alexandria, Egypt, where it first began crafting its signature treats in 1971. For over five decades, we have been synonymous with the "Live Baking Experience," specializing in artisanal, bite-sized sablé pastries that bridge the gap between timeless tradition and modern, "NewGen" flavors.

Every pastry we serve is handcrafted to order, ensuring that every bite—from our classic buttery crumbs to our innovative "Clouds of Happiness" ice cream puffs—is served fresh, flaky, and full of love. Known across Egypt for our iconic blue boxes and open-kitchen concepts, we are now bringing our unique blend of French-inspired craftsmanship and Egyptian warmth to the United States for the very first time.
The Role:
Baker As a Baker at Petit Sablé , you are the heart of our "Live Baking Experience." You won't just be following recipes; you'll be crafting the signature buttery crumbs and delicate layers that have made us a household name since 1971. In this role, you will balance high-volume production with the precision of an artisan.
Your Role Includes:
Daily Craftsmanship:
Handcraft and bake our full menu—including our signature sablés, artisanal croissants, savory pizzas, and delicate pastries—ensuring every item meets our "fresh-to-order" standard.
Quality & Innovation:
Maintain strict adherence to heritage recipes for consistent flavor. You will also be a key contributor to our R&D program , helping us adapt and innovate flavors for our first U.S. location.
Kitchen Operations:
Manage daily food prep, stocking, and rigorous cleaning/sanitation tasks to keep our open-kitchen environment pristine.
Safety Excellence:
Strictly follow all health and food safety protocols to ensure a safe environment for both our team and our guests.
Team Collaboration:
Actively support your Shift Lead and fellow team members to ensure a seamless, high-energy workflow.
Minimum Requirements:
Experience:
Preferably 2+ years of professional baking experience in a high-volume or artisanal environment. Open to candidates with less experience as well.
Age:
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Commitment:
Ability to work a minimum of 30 hours per week, including early mornings, weekends, or holidays as needed.
Skillset:
A fast learner who thrives in a fast-paced kitchen; must complete basic food safety and practice training upon hire.
