You take pride in being reliable and showing up ready to work. You enjoy getting to know your team and creating quality food items. Within this role, you will support the restaurant, deli and wholesale orders with creating fine bakery items. You will work with the team to ensure everything is ready to fill the demand for the required baked goods, on a daily and weekly basis. Your duties include but are not limited to: Assisting with prep work before baking Using dough recipes provided to prepare a variety of bakery items Mixing doughs, placing dough on bread boards and forming as needed Baking items to perfection Slicing and bagging breads / bakery items General cleanup of bakery area Keeping bakery inventory and ingredients neat / stocked as needed Job Requirements At least 1 year of high volume production professional baking experience Supports the business needs of the restaurant, ensuring that all bakery is high quality, presented well and ongoing bakery inventory is accurately produced / filled. Light cleaning of work areas before, during or after shifts, maintaining high standards of cleanliness. Stores or discards excess bakery or ingredients in accordance with safe food-handling procedures. Performs job safely while maintaining a clean, safe work environment. Performs other duties as assigned.
