Job Description

Hiring for professional Full Time Baker with a start date of mid-September. Serious inquiries only. We are looking for independent, self motivated individuals who are team players. We are looking for bakers with experience and or training. All production will be done at the Odana Location. Early shifts a must, 4:00 am and also some weekend availability. Good driving record a must.

We are a woman owned company established in 2013. We run a unique full-service coffee house and chocolate shop. We serve gluten free pastries, confections, light food and decadent espresso drinks. We strive to maintain positive relationships with our clients and also with our employees. Creating a positive work space with room for growth is one of our missions. $17.00-$22.00 hour/ Starting wage commensurate with experience plus percent tips from FOH, averaging an extra $1.00 per hour. Baker Role and ResponsibilitiesBaker reports to the Lead Baker and owners and is responsible for producing all Madison Chocolate Company s baked goods according to MCC standards.
Responsibilities:
Producing all MCC baked goods by closely following all recipes with the utmost care and accuracy as it applies to: Scaling Mixing Assembling Baking Portioning Packaging Knowledge and comfort of the operation of all kitchen equipment Following and completing daily prep list and recording all mise en place dates and waste Keeping your station/kitchen clean and up to code/standard Participating in opening and closing cleaning duties Completing daily inventory for the station worked for the day Following all rules of FIFO (first in first out) and organization Following all SOPS for MCC Following directions and complying with management. Ability to follow projections and spreadsheets. ServSafe Certified or able to become certified. Ability to work with all MCC staff and communicate efficiently. Positive attitude, Service to others, Kindness, Honesty and Integrity a must.
