(6:30a-ish) Baked Lab is a creative pastry studio on Madison's east side, specializing in modern takes on classic baked goods, a vibrant wedding business, and community-centered baking workshops. We're committed to inclusivity, equity, and bringing people together through exceptional pastries. Our shop is fun, inclusive, and hard working! We are looking to hire a part-time Baker. This individual will act in a vital role in the studio including the following responsibilities, but not limited to:

Primary Responsibilities:

Helping with morning bake-offs including Focaccia, Cookies, Brioche, Cakes, etc.. Accurately scaling, prepping, mixing, and baking off a variety of items from breads, cookies, bars, and cakes. Dishes and kitchen cleaning tasks Maintaining tidiness of workstations

Required Skills & Character Traits:

Attention-to-detail Excellent problem-solving skills Solid communication skills, ability to ask for help/guidance when needed Ability to take feedback constructively Self-motivation Ability to comprehend instructions quickly Ability to stand for long periods of time Ability to lift 50lbs You should be punctual, responsible, committed and willing to learn The ability to work independently and as a team Passion for the food and pastry industries Recommended Prior Educational /

Work Experience:

Professional baking experience preferred but willing to train the right candidate.
