In this role, you'll be the heart of our bakery and ice cream making operations, ensuring every product is crafted with care and presented beautifully. Whether you're decorating cakes, packaging treats, or assisting with food production, your skills will shine as you contribute to a dynamic culinary environment. Duties Prepare and assemble baked goods, including cakes, pastries, and bread, following established recipes and quality standards Decorate cakes and desserts with precision using various cake decorating techniques to create visually appealing products Package baked items carefully for sale or catering orders, ensuring freshness and presentation quality Assist in food production tasks such as mixing, shaping dough, and maintaining ingredient stations Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bakery workspace in compliance with food safety regulations Support food handling procedures to ensure proper storage, sanitation, and safety at all times Provide excellent customer service by answering questions about products and offering recommendations in a friendly manner Qualifications Previous experience in baking, pastry arts, or culinary environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is essential Knowledge of cake decorating techniques and food presentation skills are highly desirable Familiarity with food safety standards and proper food handling procedures Strong knife skills for precise cutting and shaping of baked goods Experience in packaging baked items for retail or catering purposes Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment while maintaining attention to detail Excellent communication skills with a positive attitude towards teamwork and customer interaction Embark on a rewarding journey where your culinary talents help delight our customers daily! Pay range for this role is $15-$18 , with incremental merit-based raises and ability to move into other roles with higher pay Consistent scheduling , posted two weeks at a time, with the ability to trade shifts Immediate access to Earned Sick and Safe Time (ESST) Front loaded PTO after 12 consecutive months of employment, with an average of 25 hours worked per week Generous matching 401(k) after 12 months of employment. Employees must meet the minimum age requirement of 20.
