As a Barista, you will be responsible for creating exceptional coffee beverages and providing outstanding customer service in a fast-paced café environment. Your role will involve not only preparing drinks but also ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for our customers. Responsibilities Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and food items according to established recipes and standards Operate the Aloha POS or Micros POS systems for order processing and payment transactions Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including food preparation stations and equipment Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns Ensure compliance with food safety and handling regulations during food preparation and service Manage cash handling accurately, including processing payments and giving change Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels of coffee beans, supplies, and food items Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours Skills Previous barista experience or strong coffee knowledge is preferred Familiarity with Aloha POS or Micros POS systems is a plus Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a busy environment Strong sales skills to promote menu items and enhance customer experience Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to create a friendly atmosphere Basic math skills for cash handling and retail math calculations Knowledge of food safety practices and food preparation techniques Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated Join us as we create memorable experiences for our customers through exceptional coffee and service!
