We are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Barista to join our dynamic team. As a Barista, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and preparing delicious beverages and food for our patrons. Your role is crucial to the success of our café, and we are looking for someone who is passionate about creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring a memorable experience for our customers.Duties:
- Prepare high-quality beverages, including coffee drinks, teas, and other specialty drinks
- Maintain an organized food line when serving salads, soups, and paninis
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to food safety and handling standards
- Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring all customers leave the café satisfied
- Operate the Square POS system accurately and efficiently
- Manage cash and credit transactions, balancing the cash register at the end of each shift
- Demonstrate strong sales skills, recommending menu items and promotions to customers
- Maintain a positive and friendly demeanor, assisting customers with questions and concerns
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless service and a clean café environment
- Maintain knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and preparation methods
- Help with inventory management and restocking supplies
- Support the café in achieving its sales goals through upselling and promoting special deals
