Responsibilities Prepare a variety of alchoholic and non-alcoholic beverages including coffee, tea, specialty drinks, and other café favorites with precision and flair Operate POS systems such as Toast to process retail sales transactions efficiently and accurately Greet customers warmly, take orders, and provide excellent customer service to enhance their experience Handle cash transactions, process payments, and give accurate change while maintaining cash handling accuracy Maintain cleanliness of the café area by performing regular cleaning duties including food handling and sanitation standards Assist in food preparation and beverage service to ensure quality and timely delivery of orders Follow food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures at all times to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff Experience Previous barista experience or food service experience is preferred; training will be provided for motivated candidates Familiarity with coffee preparation techniques and beverage service standards Experience using Toast POS system is a plus Strong math skills for processing cash transactions accurately Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests Ability to manage time effectively during busy periods while maintaining attention to detail in food safety and cleanliness standards Basic understanding of food industry best practices, including food handling, sanitation, and safety regulations Embark on a rewarding journey where your energy fuels great conversations, your skills create delightful drinks, and your dedication makes every guest feel valued.
