This role is ideal for someone with previous barista experience who enjoys leading a team, maintaining consistency, and creating a great guest experience. Responsibilities Prepare espresso drinks, matcha, cold brew, teas, blended drinks, and signature beverages consistently Open and close the coffee bar properly each day Train cashiers and front-of-house team members on coffee recipes, drink builds, milk steaming, espresso quality, and presentation Maintain consistency in drink quality, portioning, and appearance Monitor inventory levels for syrups, milk, espresso beans, cups, lids, and coffee bar supplies Communicate supply needs and low inventory to management Ensure the coffee bar remains clean, stocked, organized, and ready for service at all times Help create an efficient workflow during busy periods and support the front counter when needed Maintain cleanliness standards for espresso machines, grinders, blenders, refrigerators, and prep areas Ensure all health, safety, and food handling standards are followed Handle guest questions, complaints, and custom drink requests professionally Support management with training, coaching, and holding team members accountable for coffee standards Maintain accurate cash handling and POS procedures when needed Assist with seasonal drinks, menu changes, and special promotions Qualifications Previous barista experience required Leadership or shift lead experience preferred Knowledge of espresso machines, grinders, milk steaming, matcha, cold foam, and specialty coffee drinks Strong communication and training skills Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment Positive attitude and strong customer service skills Reliable transportation and dependable attendance Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 30 pounds, and work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed Preferred Experience Experience with specialty coffee programs Experience training staff Experience with inventory and ordering Experience working in a fast-paced café or restaurant environment Familiarity with POS systems such as Toast POS Pay & Benefits $16-$18 per hour depending on experience Tips Employee meal discounts Growth opportunities within
