Team Member / Barista: Part-Time

Your responsibilities will span from prepping customer orders to leading the smooth operation of the cafe. Expectations:

Experience in a cafe, restaurant, or food service setting is strongly preferred but not required. Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude. Ability to work well under pressure in a busy kitchen environment. Knowledge of health and safety regulations. Must be reliable, professional and punctual.

Responsibilities:

Customer Service Excellence Greet customers warmly and create a friendly, inviting atmosphere. Provide product recommendations based on customer preferences. Take food and drink orders, ensuring accuracy and timely service. Ensure customer satisfaction by addressing any concerns promptly. Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate cash registers. Familiarize yourself with our menu offerings and their health benefits. Prepare quality hot and cold coffee drinks, teas, and other beverages. Operate the espresso machine effectively (training will be provided). Craft handmade smoothies and acai bowls from scratch. Use sharp knives to prepare fresh fruits for toppings. Obtain and maintain proper food handler's certifications. Follow health and sanitation guidelines rigorously. Keep work areas clean and tidy. Ensure proper food handling and storage practices. Monitor inventory levels and restock supplies as needed. Complete order guides for food and beverage ingredients, kitchen tools and other cafe essentials. Cafe Operations and Team Coordination Coordinate the entire staff operation during scheduled shifts. Motivate colleagues to maintain high standards of service.
