As a Barista, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers while expertly preparing and serving high-quality beverages. Your commitment to customer service and attention to detail will ensure that each guest has an exceptional experience. Duties Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and other specialty drinks according to established recipes and standards. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including equipment and utensils, in compliance with food safety regulations. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders accurately, and addressing any inquiries or concerns. Handle cash transactions efficiently and accurately, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed. Assist in food preparation as needed, including preparing pastries or light snacks for customers. Monitor inventory levels of food and beverage supplies, reporting any shortages to management. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods while managing time effectively. Qualifications Previous experience as a Barista is required. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clientele. Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and making change accurately. Knowledge of food safety practices and food handling procedures is essential. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively during peak hours. A positive attitude and willingness to help others as part of a collaborative team environment.
