Job Overview Are you passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and creating a welcoming atmosphere? As a Barista, you will be the heart of Happy Lemon, crafting delicious beverages and engaging with customers to ensure they have a memorable experience. You will also serve (and eat!) our world-famous bubble waffles! This energetic role offers an opportunity to develop your skills in a fast-paced environment while spreading positivity and enthusiasm. Responsibilities Prepare and serve a variety of tea and specialty beverages with precision and care. Greet customers warmly, taking their orders accurately and efficiently. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workspace, including equipment, counters, and seating areas. Educate customers about different drinks, ingredients, and preparation methods to enhance their experience. Manage cash register operations, handle transactions accurately, and process payments securely. Restock supplies regularly to ensure all ingredients and products are available for service. Uphold health, safety, and sanitation standards consistently throughout your shift. Eventually, fully trained baristas will occasionally work individual shifts. Skills Excellent communication skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor. Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a lively environment Strong attention to detail when preparing beverages and handling transactions. Basic knowledge of boba and tea preparation is preferred but not required—training will be provided! Positive attitude with a team-oriented mindset eager to contribute to a vibrant workplace. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends , and holidays (including after summer) Willingness to learn about new products and customer preferences continuously. Hours may currently be limited, but more will be available by August. This is an ideal position for someone looking for a flexible longer-term position. We are looking for someone who can close on the weekends and occasionally open during the weekday once fully trained. We appreciate you applying!
